Our beloved brother, son, father, husband, and friend. Chad Michael Neeley, born November 7, 1973, has been called home to be of service to his heavenly father. Chad’s sudden passing was due to complications associated with diabetes/ HBP. He passed April 24, 2020 in his Rose Park home and is survived by his 3 children, Crayson (Savannah), Shae, and Skye, his wife Deandra, his parents Don and Cynthia Neeley, 4 siblings, Don (Pam), Laura (Mark Bair), David (Angie), and Chris (Tiffany), and numerous nieces and nephews. Chad grew up playing football and wrestled for Hunter High School in West Valley City, where he was known as “Captain Crunch.” Chad held two full-time jobs most of his adult life most recently working security for Pal American Security and Citadel-Chapman. Chad’s smile, charisma, and charm will be sorely missed by all whom have known him over the years. Chad was an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan and they finally started winning. We were all happy to see him finally get a Superbowl win. Chad had an infectious smile so big, he could barely see while grinning from ear to ear. Chad had many childhood friends that he still maintained contact through the years. His 2am selfie’s, FB posts, conversation openers of “Let me tell you something,” will be sorely missed. Chad was a man that would give you the shirt off his back. He was well known for more than his generous smile and contagious admiration for his Kansas City Chiefs. He was most certainly a giver in this life. We will miss him dearly.
Graveside services will be held on 4/29 @1:00pm, at Salt Lake City View Cemetery, 1001 East 11th Ave. The family requests no flowers.
