Martha Ann Critchlow
1932 - 2020
Devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother, Martha Ann Critchlow passed away on July 3, 2020. She was born on January 22, 1932 to Wilford Bridge Clark and Ivy Rebecca Crowther Clark in Coalville, Utah.
She married her lifelong companion, Lyle Critchlow on September 1, 1949. They were sealed for all eternity in the Salt Lake Temple on April 5, 2019. They are the parents of one girl and eight boys: Becci (John) Goodman, Norman, Nolan (Lisa), Ned (Sandy), Neil (Diane), Norris, Neldon (Teri), Nathan (Teddie), and Nyle (Jennifer) Their posterity also includes 38 grandchildren, 65 great grandchildren and 18 great-great grandchildren. She was a favorite aunt, friend and neighbor.
To Martha, her family was the most important thing in her life. She was also a mother beyond her family. She welcomed everyone into her life and into her home. She was a wonderful cook and always had room at her table for anyone who was there at mealtime.
Martha was an excellent seamstress and used her talents to benefit her own family as well as many others, including children who participated in riding clubs through the years.
Martha is preceded in death by her parents; siblings; in-laws, Lucian and Irma Critchlow; daughter, Becci; son, Norman; daughter-in-law, Lisa; granddaughters, Holly and Kara; grandson, Trever; great granddaughter, Gracie; and adopted son Ed Clark.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 8, 2020 at 11 AM in the Grantsville West Stake Center, 115 East Cherry St. A viewing will be held on Tuesday from 6-8 PM and Wednesday, 9:30-10:30 AM Prior to services at the Stake Center. Burial will follow in the Grantsville City Cemetery in the care of Dalton-Hoopes Funeral Home.
